During this time the "landline" telephone will not be answered (and messages not checked), and the admin@spinnakerclub.co.uk will not be monitored. The training@spinnakerclub.co.uk email address will be monitored throughout the closure of the office, and anything urgent will be responded to, routine emails (including membership renewal queries) will be responded to in January. A number of changes are happening in 2025 which will affect our club racing. One of these is that the new edition of the Racing Rules of Sailing comes into force on 1st January 2025. In addition to this the Club's Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions have been re-written for 2025. Full details of the changes which are being made, why they're being made, and how to find out more is available here.
Help Please!
1st Sandleheath Sea Scouts are a very active Sea Scout Group based in Sandleheath (Fordingbridge) and who sail, kayak and row on our lake. They do fantastic work helping young people experience watersports but are currently short of adult volunteers with the confidence to take young people afloat. If you are a competent dinghy sailor (no need to be a racer) and might be able to help please get in touch with them by emailing tim.ash444@gmail.com
Finally
From the Main & Sailing Committees and our Staff Team we wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year!
