Solo & Laser Training Day

A sad fact for most Spinnaker racers is we don't practice therefore, on Saturday 8th October the Laser and Solo sailors will be running a combined race training day. The objective is to improve our boat handling skills, and will include a variety of exercises covering tacking, gybing, start line positioning, boat speed and situational awareness. The day will finish with a series of very short races to practice the skills we've learnt, followed by tea and cake. Any class specific issues will be dealt with via short "breakout" sessions.
The training day will run from 1030 'til 1600, and is open to any adult Spinnaker sailor. Whilst principally a Laser and Solo event, we would like to extend the invitation to any other class who feel they might benefit. Bookings for the day can be made on the Spinnaker website (link on the calendar), and will cost £5 to cover fuel costs and the tea.
