Summer Youth Race Coaching Camp

This is our Summer Race Coaching Camp for young sailors with experience of club racing or higher who want to work towards the next level! No RYA certificate is worked towards during this week, we aim to grow our next generation of Olympic hopefuls!

Sailors will be split into groups based upon ability and boat sailed.

During the week a variety of subjects will be looked at including starts, mark roundings, tactics, nutrition, race strategy, boat tuning and general boat handling. On the final day we run a mini-regatta bringing together all our sailors to end the week with a fun competition.

It is expected that sailors will normally use their own boat for this coaching camp, but a limited number of club boats are available for hire for the week.
