COVID-19 Update Sunday 1st November.
The new English lock down announced yesterday and coming into force on 5th November make it look likely that Spinnaker Club will have to close for 4 weeks from that date. The Main Committee will take advice from the RYA and await further clarification from the Government. We will keep you informed. Please note that the Club will be closed on Monday 2nd November due to Ivy Lane

RNLI Pennant regatta
The weather threw a full variety of conditions at the sailors on Sunday that raised a nice sum for the RNLI. Tuning up ready for the Twisted Tube, Stuart and Jane provided a formidable display to take the event with three wins in the firefly. That said it was a high quality fleet chasing, with Rob and Mel also Fireflying to take second with Jonathan third in the aero. Good to see new Laser Sam

Spinnaker SC Victory at the British Keelboat League Finals!
The British Keelboat League finals saw 14 teams from around the country battling it out for the title, in a breezy weekend of 6 boat short course racing. 4-person teams from each club rotated in and out the RS21s, making good use of the supplied disinfectant, to complete a total of 28 races (12 per team) over the weekend. After the smoke cleared, Spinnaker SC stood victorious! (In their face masks, of course).

RS AERO Open 2020
Taking place for the first time at Spinnaker is the RS Aero Open on 24th October, which is now bookable on line, there will be a competitors briefing held on line the night before and there is no registration available on the day, come and enjoy a days racing! Book here!

Covid-19 Update
I have some good news.Spinnaker Club has carefully considered the current advice about Covid-19 and we feel confident that we can continue to run racing, training, casual sailing and other water sports at the Club. Friday Club Evening & Picnic Night
Friday Club Nights have now ended for 2020 due to the earlier sunset times. We plan to resume Club Nights in 2021 when the daylight times permit.
