Easter greetings from Spinnaker
Easter Greetings from Spinnaker I hope that you are all keeping well in these strange and challenging times. There is no quick fix to this one, but we must follow the recommendations from the Government and NHS. I know that a lot of our members work in the health and care services. I am sure that everyone in the Club sends them our thanks and best wishes.

Hello
Hello Everyone! First of all, my apologies for not posting this sooner (and the only photo I could find for Hywel's post). As Hywel introduced me below I am James, the new Chief Instructor/Boatswain at the club. Thank you to all those I have already spoken to, or even very briefly met before the lockdown for the warm welcome to the club. A little bit about myself, I have now

Solo Open 2020
The day dawned with an exceptional weather forecast: force 5 gusting 7, dying to force 1 later in the day. Race officer Peter May proposed a course with a full gamut of points of sailing was set, with the gybe mark mercifully in a more sheltered corner as far from the spectators on shore as possible. Several people decided to sit out the first race, looking to see how the remainder got on and hoping

Frostbite series underway in glorious sun
On a 12 degree day, in a pleasant F3/4 the early year sailors were out. At times the racetrack was bathed in sun. Hywel Morris set a windward/ leeward course with a few wide marks to get the boats planing on reaches. And plane they did. It was great to see the beautiful site of a Mirror in between the white sails of the solos and the lasers. Next race of this 8 race series
