Spinnaker Youth Training (SYT)
It may be mid winter now but don't forget that SYT starts again on Sunday May 3rd. This training is open to any member of the club under the age of 17 and is intended for all junior sailors from complete novices to keen racers. SYT is mainly focused on Optimists , Toppers and Laser 4.7s. There are some club boats available to hire. We intend to do some two handed

2020 NEW YEAR'S DAY RACE
Despite a rather grey day and not a lot of wind 10 boats entered the race. This included 2 visitors. In view of the light winds the Race Officer set a simple triangular course. Spinnaker Firefly Open 3rd November 2019
Spinnaker Firefly Open Sun 3 November 2019 The second day of the Spinnaker Firefly Weekend for the Firefly Open Meeting dawned as a total contrast to the first. Whilst the Twisted Tube Random pairs had been cancelled due to winds of Force 6 gusting 9, sailors arrived on Sunday to no wind but welcome sun. WPNSA, Optimist Nationals 2019
I just competed in my first ever regatta the Optimist Nationals at WPNSA. It was a real adventure. On Saturday 27 July 2019, we dropped off my Optimist at WPNSA. It was amazing to see the facilities and to see the beautiful vessels all around the bay, including The Black Pearl which was moored in the harbour.
