    Start of Spring Series

    Sunday April 25 th saw the opener of our Spring Pursuit (early pm) and Spring PY (afternoon) series that will run for 5 weeks. A brisk and gusty wind from the East met the fleet. 16 faster boats made it to their Pursuit start and most notably 6 of the slower boats for their 1300 start.     2nd of the April mini series

    On a sunny mild day in the Pursuit race Amanda in the Lightning 268 prevailed ahead of Michael's Solo, Paul's Laser and Jae's Aero in hot pursuit. So again the opportunity to succeed for a variety of boats in this popular format is shown.     April 11th Pursuit and Sprint Day

    Sunday 11 April saw a fleet of 30 boats enjoying the Spring conditions. And we had it all. Bright sun, threatening cloud and even some snow!. Winds were generally light.     Prime Minister's Statement 22nd February - Lockdown Exit

    Many of our members will have listened this afternoon to the Prime Minister as he makes a statement to the House of Commons on the roadmap out of the current lockdown.     The First Spinnaker Sailing Club Team e-Racing Event!

    Four teams competed in Spinnaker's first virtual team race event on Sunday 8th February. In a round robin, Team Solo (Ivan and John D) and Joe and Dan Burns both clinched a win in their first races.
