    Topper Traveller Report Sunday 27th March saw us host our annual Topper Traveller! It was a great day of sailing, with 27 toppers racing in warm, sunny weather! Amongst the fleet were 7 of our younger sailors from Spinnaker, with several pushing to make it to the front of the fleet! For full results and a report please click here!     Topper Traveller 27th March 2022 Report

    Sunday 27th March gave us near perfect conditions for the Topper Traveller at Spinnaker Sailing Club. As is traditional the club hosted the first leg of the Rooster Southern Area Summer Traveller Series, a great chance for sailors to get back out on the circuit after a winter of training! With warm sunshine, and a great breeze the day made us all think more of an event in June than late March. 27 sailors

    New Online Membership Cards Spinnaker Sailing Club now has online membership cards! These can be viewed by logging into the club website via your smart phone. These have been automatically setup for all members, and will be a great way to confirm to club staff that you hold an active membership if you need help with access codes or to book/hire equipment.   • Frostbite series completed!

    Sunday 13 th March saw the Frostbite series completed in fresh, bracing sunny conditions. Overall 27 crews entered the series - a great diversity of craft including zests, oppys, toppers, solos, lasers, fireflies and a wonderful Scorpion with the kite up. This has been a consistently heavy-weather series. Races 1 & 2 were abandoned - and the Club's heavy-weather managed sailing implemented to help develop strong wind skills. The balance of the

    Weekly News - 22nd February 2022

    Storm Damage Good news, electricity has been restored to the club! Apart from it meaning we have lights, and can get on with some of the maintenance to boats again, the all important coffee machine and kettle are working again! Having completed a site walk yesterday all boats are upright and on their trolleys. However, we continue to recommend owners check their boats and ensure they are securely tied down.
