    Wednesday Twilight series ends

    It's always with some regret that the last Wednesday race of the year completes. In glorious warm conditions a large fleet saw the series off. 37 entries make it another highly enjoyed 4 race series characterised by some incredibly light airs. This really tested the sailors skills and we can see who the light air gurus are as they magic out power from the zephyrs and keep what little boat movement they have going.

    Weekly News and Covid-19 Update

    Covid-19 Update The Management Committee of the Club met last night, with Covid-19 mitigations, policies and procedures being one of the main agenda items. In July the UK Government announced the move to Step 4 of the Spring Roadmap, with all legal Covid-19 restrictions that affected Spinnaker Sailing Club being lifted.     Eric Twiname Team Vacancy! Spinnaker Sailing Club has been invitied to enter the Eric Twiname Youth Team Racing Championship, running on 9th and 10th October at Oxford Sailing Club.     Sunday Late Summer series completed

    Sunday 22 August saw the completion of 4 July/ August race series. In the Late Summer Pursuit race, over a 5 race series with 40 entries. Keith McQuillin in the laser wins, with Dave Swordy's Solo second and Jonathan Burns in the Aero9 getting the third. 5 winners in 5 races and large fleets made this a great series.   • Spinnaker Youth Training Block 3!

    On Saturday 21st August bookings will open for Spinnaker Youth Training Block 3! For our newer members who are not sure what Spinnaker Youth Training is, it is our programme of regular, half day training sessions for members which runs in blocks in line with the school half terms.
