    BUSA South Central Qualifiers This weekend saw the University of Portsmouth Sailing Club host the BUSA South Central Qualifiers, with 2 days of action packed team racing! Of the 12 teams entered, 7 were from the 4 universities based at Spinnaker Sailing Club. Team Portsmouth did a great job planning and delivering the event, with 12 of their sailors also competing!     Wessex Winter Warmer 2022 This weekend the club hosted the Wessex Winter Warmer, an event we traditionally host on the last weekend of January, organised by Wessex Sailing Club (Southampton University).     icicle Series completes

    Spinnaker's Icicle series has just completed. This series running through December and January, was new for 2021/2. It was a pilot for test interest in all-year sailing the deal being that all sailors undertaking a race duty to make it happen.     The 2022 racing programme kicked off in style on Saturday's New Years Day race. Conditions were exceptionally mild with a 6-10 knot south westerly. Over 20 boats made the start line with fleet racing for laser and solo and many single and double handers including Feva, Firefly, Topper, Lighting and Wanderer.
