Pre-Season Race Update
It was fantastic to have so many of our members join us for our Welcome to New Members and Pre-Season Social on Wednesday 5th April. After a winter without activity on a Wednesday evening it was wonderful to have 37 members come together for fish and chips, wit more members joining us for a drink and chat. 2023 Topper Traveller Report
Sunday 26th March saw Spinnaker Sailing Club host the first leg of the Rooster Southern Area Topper Traveller 2023. In the week leading up to the event, the forecast was changing almost daily- ranging from 3 to 30 knots (from every compass point imaginable) with rain or sunshine possible! Dear Club Members I have been shoved to the front, and am taking up the reins as Commodore. I am doubly blessed in that the Club is on an even keel, and I have done the role before elsewhere! RYA Dinghy & Watersports Show It was great to see so many members making the trip to Farnborough this weekend to visit the RYA Dinghy & Watersports Show. Club Racing This Sunday! This Sunday (12th February) sees the start of our Frostbite Race Series! This handicap series is made up of 6 races across 3 weekends, with your best 4 scores to count! Wessex Winter Warmer 2023! A fantastic Wessex Winter Warmer 2023 was run by Southampton University Sailing Club with race management support from Ksail. Sadly the wind did not appear on Saturday and so no racing was run.
