Rules Evening Talk

On 1st January 2025 the latest edition of the Racing Rules of Sailing came into force! A few changes have been made, and whilst the principles behind the rules (and the intention of them) hasn't changed there are some differences in how they are written and in how they will be applied on the water!

Join us for an evening where our resident team of RYA Qualified Umpires will talk you through the changes and how they will affect your racing! There will also be an opportunity to ask questions about any specific rules you are unsure of, whether they have been changed or not!

- Updates to Rule 18 (Mark Room)
- Changes to Rule 20 (Room to Tack)
- Changes to Protest Procedures
- Changes to the definition of Mark Room
