Flexibility And Support

Private tuition is offered at Spinnaker on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis. It can be tailored to any ability or for any goal. Private tuition at Spinnaker has been used by members to help transition them into new equipment, improve their upwind technique, or used as enrichment/respite.

We also offer RYA Certified training through private tuition, which can be a great option for those who need more flexibility due to their availability or where an individual requires additional support to complete the syllabus.

Experienced RYA Instructors and Coaches

Spinnaker Sailing Club is home to a team of incredibly knowledgeable and experienced Instructors, combined they share a background in team racing, fleet racing, symmetric and asymmetric spinnakers, classic boats, aft and centre mainsheet technique, and single and double-handed performance sailing. The team train regularly, and can also be found entering both club and nationally organised events, keeping their skills and experience fresh.

Because of our knowledge base, we can confidently offer a high standard of tuition in all dinghies found at the Club.
