Private Tuition

We are fortunate at Spinnaker Sailing Club to have a highly experienced team of RYA Coaches and Instructors available to support members. Should there be a specific skill you want to develop or have a particular area of your sailing or boat you would like to know more about private tuition may be the answer for you!

Private tuition is on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis, and can be tailored to any level and ability, some examples of what we have offered through private tuition in recent years are below:

- Better upwind sailing in Optimists
- Introduction to sailing
- Transitioning to a Topper
- Using an asymmetric spinnaker
- Enrichment/respite activities to those with additional support requirements

We can also deliver RYA Certificated Training through private tuition. This can be a great option for those who need more flexibility due to their availability or where an individual requires additional support to complete the syllabus.
