Singlehanded Class Captain's Race Training

For 2024 we are trialling a new format for our Class Captain's Training for our adult sailors. 4 x Sunday mornings are planned, so that following a couple of hours of coaching and practice you can put it into effect in the afternoon racing!

This first of four Sunday morning race training Sessions will concentrate on getting a good start. We will start at 1000, rigged and ready, with a short briefing on the mornings exercises, then out on the water to practice and see what works for us. We'll finish with a few very short races to consolidate the learning before a quick lunch break and the afternoon club racing to demonstrate our "fully honed" starting techniques. Further feedback over tea and cake will follow the last race of the day.

This training is for sailors aged 18 and over, with some club racing experience sailing a single hander.
