Welcome To New Members & Pre-Season Social

Just before weekly racing starts each year we have an evening to welcome new members to Spinnaker Sailing Club, and update all our members on what is planned for the club through the year!

This is a great opportunity to meet our Committee Members, find out about the training and racing programmes, and hear how to make the most of your membership. After some information from some of the key people who help organise the club's activities we will have several break out groups running to allow members to learn more about the Racing Rules of Sailing and how to run racing.

The evening will start with fish and chips at 6.30pm (these must be pre-ordered via this webpage), before a welcome from our Commodore Phil at 7pm and the Sailing Committee share their plans for the year. From 7pm there will be children's activities on offer outside. After our small groups sessions we will be back together again from 8pm for a question and answer session and a chance to catch up after the winter! The bar will be open from 6.15pm.
