Let's Go Sailing Block 3 Week 3

23rd June 2022, 10:00 - 12:30

Our Let's Go Sailing Thursdays are an opportunity to go for a relaxing sail, followed by tea/coffee and biscuits in the club house! We have a variety of activities on offer on Thursday mornings, all part of our Let's Go Sailing programme!

We have a Women's Learn to Sail group, for female participants who either have no experience of sailing or are very new to sailing! One of our qualified instructors will teach and guide you through your introduction to the great world of sailing! This activity runs for 6 weeks, and is booked in a block. Please book onto week 1 and this reserves your space for all 6 weeks!

Women's Improver Sailing is open to female participants with some previous sailing experience. One of our qualified instructors will teach and guide you as you develop your sailing skills! We will look at a variety of topics/skills all aimed at giving you the confidence to sail more, and show you what you could do with your sailing! This activity runs for 6 weeks, and is booked in a block. Please book onto week 1 and this reserves your space for all 6 weeks!

Friendly Coaching is open to all our members and is designed to push sailors abilities to where they aspire to be, all in a friendly, relaxed environment! If you have memories of learning to sail with an instructor driving the boat very close to you while shouting instructions, well do not worry, because this groups is the exact opposite of that! If sailors wish to they can sail their own boats for these sessions so they can get used to their own craft. This activity runs for 6 weeks, and is booked in a block. Please book onto week 1 and this reserves your space for all 6 weeks!

Please be ready for 10.30am rigged and ready to go for Friendly Coaching and Women's Improver Sailing, Women's Learn to Sail meet's at 10am and the instructor will help everyone rig up, with all sessions ending at 12.30.

For those of you who just want to sail in the knowledge their are other people around when racing isn't running (and don't want to miss out on the biscuits) come on down for a Social Sail! A great chance to enjoy the lake pressure free, or for those more competitive practice some skills ready for the next time you are racing! There is no need to book if you would like to go Social Sailing, unless you wish to hire a Club Boat, in which case please do this through the normal booking system!
