Pre-Season Introduction to Racing and New Members Welcome!

Wednesday 5th April sees our annual Pre-Season Welcome to New Members and Introduction to Racing Evening! We strongly encourage all our members to join us to meet the Main and Sailing Committee, some of our core staff team and other members whilst learning about the opportunities available at the Club this year!

There will be free tea, coffee, hot chocolate and squash available all evening and the bar will be open. We will be arranging for Fish and Chips to be collected and delivered to the Club for 7pm, at the bottom of this email is a link to allow you to pre-order your Fish and Chips. Food must be pre-ordered by 1200 on Wednesday 5th April.

Below is a rough programme for the evening:

7pm - Fish and Chips arrives at the Club
7.30pm - Welcome and Introduction to the Committees and Staff, Overview of 2023 Racing and Training programmes, Update on changes to racing for 2023
7.50pm - Breakout Groups: Introduction to the Racing Rules, Racing Rules for mid-fleet sailors and Race Officer Refresher/Update. There will also be some Children's Activities being run by our instructors!
8.15pm - Come back together for questions, drinks and a chat.
