Spring Sunday Race Series Conclude
Sunday 21st May saw our Spring Morning and Spring Afternoon Handicap Race Series conclude!
In the 6 races of the Spring Morning Series we saw 30 entrants in the Main Fleet, with 15 entries in the Junior Fleet! The Main Fleet saw James Oborne come out on top in his Firefly, mostly singlehanded (and ironically the one day he took out a crew he capsized), with Amanda Jukes taking second place in her Lightning, with Robert Marshall in third. The Junior Fleet was won by Hugo with Zach/George crewing for him in a Club Feva!
The Afternoon Series saw a total of 39 entrants across the 12 races. It was a tightly contested series, with Ian Hickman ultimately victorious in his ILCA 7/Laser Standard, with Les Radford in second in his Solo, and Lucy Macdonald taking third overall in her ILCA 6/Laser Radial.
You can see the Series Results in full here.
Our next Sunday Racing Series' begin on 4th June with the Summer Sunday Pure Pursuit Series, look out for more details about these races next week! See below for more details about what's happening on Sunday 28th May!
