We currently have two full time vacancies available! Both of these are to join our Operations Team, supporting the delivery of activity on a day to day basis at Spinnaker Sailing Club.
With a vibrant training and coaching programme for our members and local schools, a busy racing programme and a club fleet of over 60 boats there is always something happening at Spinnaker Sailing Club, and without our Operations Team this much activity could not happen! Each week is different, and packed with activities. On a one day you could be out sailing an RS200 with a member in the morning before running introductory sessions for our local junior school in the afternoon, then the next you would maintaining our fleet of boats before running a race coaching session for our local schools preparing for the Eric Twiname Championships! With a vibrant racing programme there is the opportunity to be involved in the planning and delivery of major events including BUSA Championships, The Prince Philip Trophy/UKTRA and local traveller/open meetings!
We are looking for two enthusiastic, knowledgeable instructors to join our team to allow us to continue supporting sailors and paddlers to get afloat at Spinnaker Sailing Club. A full job description is at the bottom of this page as a PDF, but the important bits are:
Salary - £25,500 to £30,000 per year depending upon qualifications, skills and experience - qualifications are just part of the story, your sailing background, experience and other skills are equally important!
Working Hours - Annualised hours to average 37.5 per week, worked on a rota basis, evening and weekend work is required. Our leave entitlement is 28 days per year including bank holiday.
