A Very Busy Weekend

What a weekend! Anyone visiting the lake on Saturday was treated to a spectacle of Model Yacht Sailing, windsurfing, learner dinghy sailors and some very entertaining team racing between the Old Bryanstonians, and the current Bryanston Team! Then on Sunday SYT saw 20 sailors afloat before club racing!

Can You Help This Friday?

The recent weather has meant the grass in our boat park has grown quite rapidly! Ian our Rear Commodore House is organising an impromptu grass cutting session this Friday afternoon between 1pm and 4p, if you can come along and help that would be hugely appreciated.

Club Racing

This week sees the start of our Wednesday B and Summer Cup Pursuit Series'. The new personal handicaps which were used for the Memorial Race will be used for the Summer Cup, please check the board at the Race Hut before you head afloat!

RYA Training Courses This Summer

Are you still looking for activities for your children this summer? We have a fantastic range of courses planned this summer from beginner to aspiring racer there is something for everyone! You can see our full programme here.

Rock Up And Race

Rock Up and Race is all about fun, friendly, easily accessible dinghy racing. This week's session is on Friday, a perfect way to start the weekend! We'd love to see a few more people give this session a go, so why not try it this Friday?

Book on for this week's session here!

We will also be running a poll on Whatsapp in the next week or so, about Rock Up and Race as we review how the initiative has gone so far.

Contacting The Office

As we head further into the summer our staff team are spending an increasing amount of time out on the water, supporting our members and local schools to get afloat. This does mean we are in the office less, and our telephones may not be answered for extended periods. The best way to get in touch is via email - either admin@spinnakerclub.co.uk for Neil or training@spinnakerclub.co.uk for James.

How to Stay In Touch

Don't forget a really good way to stay in touch with other members is our Whatsapp Community, there are different groups within the community for each of our main classes, as well as the SYT Parents Group and a Kayaking/Paddleboarding Group.
