Fish & Chips and The Memorial Race

This Wednesday is our annual Memorial Pursuit Race, followed by fish and chips and a prizegiving for our Wednesday evening racing so far this year! Fish and chips must be pre-ordered via this link, and orders will be accepted up until 1200 on Wednesday: book your fish and chips here!

We ask that all those participating in the Memorial Race make a donation in support of Macmillan Caring Locally (more details about this charity and the work they do is below). A donation can be made either on the night in cash, or on the fish and chips booking page via the link above.

Office Telephone

The office telephone is back in action, and we are working through the answer phone messages today, please bear with us as we catch up after the technical issues!

Dinghy Sailing Refresher

If you haven't siled for a few years and would like to get out on the water with an instructor blow away the cobwebs and remind yourself of the basics then we have a great opportunity this Saturday morning with a refresher session!

You can see more details and book on here.

Racing Duties

Helping the club by doing a race duty is a great way to meet other members, learn more about dinghy racing, and help keep our club activity going! Without volunteers we simply can't run our racing programme. If you haven't volunteered for your duties yet please do so now!

We are currently a little light on volunteers for the next two months of racing, and will shortly begin allocating duties to ensure our programme can run.

Spinnaker Youth Training Block 2

It was awesome to see such a busy lake on Sunday morning, with over 20 young sailors signed up for the various groups as part of SYT this block! Can we please remind all sailors in the Improver and Racing groups to be rigged, changed and launched ready for their briefing at 09.30 to help with the smooth running of the sessions.

How to Stay In Touch

Don't forget a really good way to stay in touch with other members is our Whatsapp Community, there are different groups within the community for each of our main classes, as well as the SYT Parents Group and a Kayaking/Paddleboarding Group.
