Social Sailing and Model Yachting Are Back This Thursday

After a pause last Thursday for the New Forest Hansa TT (which was a fantastic sight with 28 colourful Hansas racing) Social Sailing and Model Yachting will be running as normal this Thursday! Whether you want to try controlling a DragonForce 65 (the club has 3 available for hire) or head out on the water yourself come on down!

Site Improvement Works

Over the last few weeks you my have noticed a few small changes around the site. Our compost heap is having a make over thanks to some funding from Wessex Water, and, some new matting has been installed as a trial to make launching and recovering craft at the northern pontoon easier.

Duty Roster

Fortunately due to staff and members (thank you) stepping in at short notice we were able run racing last Sunday. However, as we look ahead a large number of duty slots are still unfilled through late July and early August. Please remember we cannot run racing without the support of our members taking on duty roles. If you are not sure what is involved please speak to a member of the Sailing Committee who will be happy to chat!

Rock Up And Race

Rock Up and Race is all about fun, friendly, easily accessible dinghy racing. This week's session is on Wednesday, a perfect way to start the weekend! We'd love to see a few more people give this session a go, so why not try it this Friday?

Book on for this week's session here!

How to Stay In Touch

Don't forget a really good way to stay in touch with other members is our Whatsapp Community, there are different groups within the community for each of our main classes, as well as the SYT Parents Group and a Kayaking/Paddleboarding Group.
