2022 Programme Now Available to View!

Our 2022 programme is packed full of exciting opportunities. Building on what we have done, learnt and been asked for we have assembled a programme which we think has something for everyone!
For the sailors we have our usual range of RYA Training Courses, Ladies Sailing, Spinnaker Youth Training and Tuesday Evening Improver groups being led by our team of instructor team, while we plan on repeating our racer led Friday evening practice sessions which were so popular with our more experienced sailors.
For our paddleboarders we are trialling a new Thursday evening Social Paddle in April and May, an opportunity to head out on the lake with other paddlers and enjoy the evenings! This is alongside our existing Friday Club Nights!
In 2020 and 2021 we ran our very popular Family Fun Day the Blashford Barrel on the August Bank Holiday Weekend. For 2022 we are running even more of these one day special events to ensure everyone can enjoy the atmosphere. A few of the other special one-offs we have planned include an 8 hour endurance dinghy race and a Club Championship event in October!
After our stunning racing season in 2021 the Sailing Committee have put together a varied programme of pursuit and handicap racing for 2022, so there is something for everyone! With our pursuit racing some of the series will be run as personal handicap races, as is traditional at Spinnaker Sailing Club on Wednesday evenings, while some will be "pure" pursuit races where all boats of a class will set off together, giving you a chance to really se how you compare against sailors of the same boat!

For training activities beginning in March or later booking will open on 1st January 2022, some winter training activities can be booked now.
