2025 AGM

Our 2025 AGM is only two weeks away! You can now view the Club's Financial Accounts for the previous Financial Year (ending 30 September 2025), our proposed membership fees for 2026, Bryan and Phil's Treasurers and Commodore's reports respectively. Later this week we will have Robert's Rear commodore Sailing report uploaded as well. We would love to see as many of you as possible at the AGM, remember this is your club, and this is one of your main opportunities to have input to the club's management!

If you cannot attend the AGM yourself please consider giving your vote to someone else as your "proxy," more details can be seen in the Notice of AGM. We must have t lest 25 "votes" present or proxied at the AGM to meet the quorum, otherwise we have to postpone the meeting.

You can see all the AGM documents here.

Building Works Update

Work is progressing well, and the final batch of concrete is being poured on Thursday this week! To help keep work going smoothly can we please ask that the South (by the clubhouse) car park is used as much as possible on Thursday this week. Thank you for your understanding.

Model Yachting

You may have recently seen a few Model Yachts in use at the lake. We are very excited to be trialling model yachting at the moment during a couple of time slots each week.

At the AGM there will be more information about our plans for Model Yachting in 2026. Then there will also be the opportunity to try your hand at model yachting on Thursday 11th December between 10:00nd 12:00, there is no need to book, just turn up!

2026 Programme

Our 2026 racing and training programmes can now be viewed on our website, both on the main calendar (where you can book everything) and as PDFs on the appropriate pages.

We have a couple more details to finalise and then we can unveil our kayak/paddleboard programme!

How to Stay In Touch

Don't forget a really good way to stay in touch with other members is our Whatsapp Community, there are different groups within the community for each of our main classes, as well as the SYT Parents Group and a Kayaking/Paddleboarding Group.
