Monday 19th September - Club Closure
Following the announcement this weekend of the plans for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II Spinnaker Sailing Club's Management Committee has taken the decision that Spinnaker Sailing Club will be closed for the day on Monday 19th September as a mark of respect.
On Monday 19th September no member or affiliated individual will be permitted to access the lake, including for the use of personal equipment. The gates will be locked, and in the event of an emergency access will be available via the Chief Instructor.
Vacant Duty Slots
We have a couple of empty spaces in our Racing Duty Roster in the next week including for a Race Officer or Safetyboat Driver on Wednesday 14th September, and a Race Officer on Sunday 18th September.
Please remember that without your help we cannot run our racing programme.
Save The Date - Fish and Chips!
Our final Fish and Chips Evening of the year will be on Wednesday 28th September. With only 1 race now happening on Wednesday evenings due to the darker evenings this means food will be available from the earlier time of 7.15pm at the Club.
Wednesday 28th September is our final Wednesday evening race of the year, let's see if we can make it the busiest!
Office Email Problems
Some good news! Our recent IT issues in the Club Office have been resolved, and we are back up and running. There is a large backlog of emails and messages, which we will respond to as quickly as possible.
