The Icicle Series Has Started!

Sunday saw the first two races of our very appropriately names Icicle Series! 3 competitors braved the low temperatures (once their boats were defrosted enough to work)!

The Icicle Series continues this Sunday, remember to help look after our race volunteers anyone on duty can have free hot drinks (we have thermal mugs so you can take them afloat). Please speak to James or Neil on the day!

Windy Weather On The Way!

Over this weekend some more unsettled weather is due to arrive, with winds on Sunday/Monday currently predicted to hit up to 60mph at the club! Please can all members ensure that their boats are securely fastened down and safe! With the recent cold weather we also suggest sails are removed from boats to prevent mice making nests from the material!

Social Sailing!

Our final two Social Sailing sessions of 2022 are this Thursday and next Thursday! With children off school next week it would be fantastic to see some of our younger members before Christmas! Social sailing starts at 10.30 and there is always a safetyboat ready to come and assist if needed!

New Years Day Race!

On New Years Day we have a single handicap race starting at 12.00! It's a great fun, social way to help wake up from the night before!

Club dinghies will be available to borrow free of charge on a first come first served basis! Please be aware that all sails have been removed from the boats for the winter period so you will need to be able to independently rig your boat, including putting sails on masts for the Zests etc.

Powerboat and Instructor Training in 2023!

Through January and February 2023 we have a range of Powerboat and Dinghy Instructor training opportunities!

On 14th/15th January we have an RYA Powerboat Level 2 course with 1 space left!
On 22nd January we have an RYA Dinghy Instructor Pre-Assessment.
On 13th - 17th February we have an RYA Dinghy Instructor Course.
On 18th/19th February we have an RYA Safety Boat Course.

All of these courses are bookable now, and if you would like any advice please speak to James or Neil in the office!
