Club Championships
The next two Sundays sees our 8 race Club Championships, with plenty of prizes up for grabs! There will be 4 races each day, with the first race starting at 11am, and a lunch break between races 2 and 3.

Social Sailing
Our Let's Go Sailing programme of instructor led sessions on Thursday mornings has now finished. However, we will be running Social Sailing throughout the winter, every Thursday except for December 29th! Between 10.30 and 12.30 one of our instructors will be available to provide friendly advice, and have a safety boat rigged and ready to go should anyone require help out on the water. After sailing we will all have tea/coffee together in the club house.
Club boats are available to hire and can be booked through the normal hire page on the club website. If you have your own boat then there is no need to book!
SYT Christmas Party!
As those of you on the SYT Whatsapp group may have seen already we are planning a sailing session on Thursday 22nd December to run at the same time as Social Sailing! This is a chance for our young sailors to head out with their friends for one last sail before Christmas!
We are then planning on having lunch together in the club house afterwards! For more details please speak to Emma or James.
Save The Date - AGM and Winter Prize Giving
Following two years where the Club's Annual General Meeting has been held via Zoom we are hoping that this year we can return to an "physical" AGM in the Clubhouse, with a prizegiving (and the bar open) afterwards!
The AGM date is Sunday 4th December, after Race 8 of our Winter Handicap Series.
Winter Hours - Equipment Hire
From Monday 31st October the Club will be operating on it's winter hours. Equipment hire will be available between 9am and 4pm Sunday to Thursday. Outside of these times Club Equipment will not be available to hire. Outside of these times we cannot guarantee whether staff will be onsite, and so equipment will not be available to hire.
