2022 AGM and Winter Prizegiving!
Don't forget Sunday 4th December we have the Club's Annual General Meeting and Winter Prizegiving starting at 1.30pm! Full details of the AGM including the Notice of AGM/Agenda, nominations for Flag Officer Roles, Annual Financial Accounts and Directors' End of Year Reports can all be seen on this page in the member's area of our website.
If you cannot attend the AGM please consider giving your proxy vote to another member! This way your vote can count in the elections of Flag Officers and any resolutions put forward. For details of how to give another member your proxy vote please see the Notice of AGM.
Don't forget everyone who comes to the AGM gets one free drink from the bar!
Sailing Committee Profiles!
Have you ever wondered who is on the Sailing Committee? Do you know their names but not sure what they look like? Well to help with this we now have a noticeboard in the clubhouse with their pictures on! It's on our Official Noticeboard next to the coffee machine.
Junior Team Racing Training - Sunday 11th December
Our next Junior Team Racing session is on Sunday 11th December at 1pm, after club racing! Currently we only have 2 people signed up. Unless we get more sailors booked on by Monday 5th December we will have to cancel the session as we cannot run with so few sailors!
Team Racing is great fun and something Spinnaker Sailing Club has a strong history of, with it's focus on tactical racing and good knowledge of the Racing Rules of Sailing!
Sign up here for the next Junior Team Racing session!
Youth Development Fund
Throughout 2022 the Spinnaker Youth Development Fund has supported our younger members in their sailing. In 2022 this fund has helped transport our sailors to events such as Parkstone Youth Week and the British Youth Sailing Regional Junior Championships, as well as provide funding to help younger sailors access training opportunities that otherwise might not have been affordable!
This fund is generously supported by donations from our members. More details about how the Youth Development Fund, including how to apply for support, can be found on the webpage below:

Volunteers for Icicle Series and New Years Day Race!
Thank you to everyone who has supported our racing programme over the last 12 months.
We have an exciting programme of winter racing lined up, with our Icicle Series due to start on 11th December, and a New Years Day Race! We are still short of volunteers for every race in the Icicle Series and the New Years Day Race, any help is hugely appreciated!
Please remember to sail in the Icicle and Frostbite Series you must do at least 1 duty in support of these races.
