2022 Instructor Recruitment - Come and Join Our Team!

We are looking to recruit instructors for the 2022 season. This is a great opportunity to work as a core part of a small team sharing your love of sailing and watersports. Spinnaker Sailing Club is a thriving hub of activity with a diverse membership, and activity running 7 days a week across the year.

The club is an RYA Recognised Training Centre, and holds an AALA licence. We offer a wide ranging programme of activities including club racing, RYA Training Courses, regular coaching programmes for youth and adult members, supported sailing sessions, school activities and race coaching to schools including team racing! Instructors with us do not just teach courses, we get involved in all aspects of the club which makes for a great working atmosphere and different opportunities/experiences to what you might experience at more commercialised centres including the opportunity to join in Club Racing, and get involved in race management.

As a minimum we are looking for RYA Dinghy Instructors, with the below qualifications/experience desirable:

- Senior Dinghy Instructor
- Powerboat Instructor
- Race Coach Level 2
- Team Racing Experience
- Kayak/Paddleboard experience/instructor qualifications

We have a variety of positions available with pay starting at £9.50 per hour plus holiday pay, employer pension contributions (for those who qualify), use of club equipment and facilities and CPD opportunities. For candidates with appropriate experience and higher level qualifications a higher hourly pay rate is available.All contracts available are currently fixed term starting as early as 18th March, and continuing up to 31st October 2022.
