Thank you!

First this week a big thank you to all our members who volunteered their time and energy on Saturday for our Spring Work Party! Despite a slightly damp start we achieved a huge amount including a very good sort out of the race hut, building our new picnic benches, cutting the vegetation on the south shore line, clearing all the debris behind the club house and pressure washing the decking!

We do have a few jobs we were unable to complete due to the weather such as painting the sheds, so if you would like to volunteer a little bit of time on a nice day in the next few weeks the Club would be hugely appreciative!

Topper Traveller - Sunday 26th March

This Sunday is our Topper Traveller! We currently have 37 young sailors entered, which will be a fantastic site to see! Due to the size of this event their will be no Club Racing on Sunday 26th March, and no recreational access to the lake.

Save The Date - Wednesday 5th April

Don't forget our Welcome to New Members and Pre-Race Social is on Wednesday 5th April, starting at 7pm! There will be food, and the bar will be open, look out for a full programme next week!

Club Staffing

As we head toward Easter we have more and more activity running, and our staff team is growing to support this! Johnny our new Lead Instructor has now settled in, and we have more staff starting soon.

With this increase in staffing our members are now able to hire the Club's dinghies, kayaks and paddleboards 7 days a week! Look out for our new windsurf equipment being available to hire from Saturday 1st April!

Easter Sunday Funday!

Plans are in place for another fantastic Easter Sunday Funday! Between 10.00 and 12.00 we will have an Easter Egg Hunt, At 12.15 we will have a fun parent and child dinghy race, where the children must helm! Then at 14.00 we will run 2 hours of our very popular Sprint Racing (briefing at 13.30). There is no need to book, and use of the Club's equipment will be free all day!

RYA Training Courses This Easter

We still have a few spaces left on our RYA Training courses this Easter, so if you are looking for something for your child to do this Easter please have a look at what's on offer on the calendar on our website.

Club Duties

If you have not yet signed up for your club duties please do so! As our programme of activities increases we are looking for our members to support the delivery of this. You can volunteer for your preferred slots via the club website. We will shortly begin allocating duties to those members who have not volunteered.

See you soon!
