2023 AGM Minutes

Our 2023 AGM Minutes can now be viewed on the club website in the AGM Information area.

2024 Membership Renewals

Thank you to everyone who has already renewed their membership for 2024! Annual memberships and boat berths allocations expire on 31st December. There is a discount available on membership renewals if these are completed by 31st January 2024, the prices will increase on 1st February. You can see all the details for your renewal here.

Don't forget their is the option for those of you who have annual memberships to pay by monthly direct debit. If want to pay by monthly direct debit we strongly recommend renewing in December, so that an instalment can be taken in January, spreading the cost over the full 12 months, if you renew in January the total will be due in 11 payments, the first one in February.

If you have a Winter Membership then you will be contacted in March about the options as your membership approaches the end of it's term.

Social Sailing

We have two Social Sailing sessions left in 2023! One is this Thursday (14th December), and the final one is on Thursday 21st December. Come and join us from 10.30 for a relaxed sail or paddle!

Club Racing

Sunday saw our final two races of 2024 in some very challenging and wintery conditions! Well done to those of you who braved the weather, and congratulations to Robert Marshall for comfortably winning the Winter Series!

Our first race of 2024 is on New Years Day, with a single handicap race starting at 12.00, followed by mince pies!

RYA Powerboat Level 2 Course

We have a couple of spaces left on our first RYA Powerboat Level 2 Course of 2024! Running on 6th/7th January this is a great opportunity to get your RYA Powerboat Level 2, the first step towards being qualified to drive the safetyboat to support racing here at Spinnaker Sailing Club, and also an essential pre-requisite for any aspirant RYA Dinghy Instructors (we're running an instructor course in February if you're interested).

Lost Property

We have once again acquired a large amount of lost property! On Wednesday 20th December we will be having a clear out and disposing of this! If you think you have lost something please check before then!
