2026 Open Day

Our annual Open Day is on Monday 4th May. Throughout the day we will be opening our club to members of the public so they can come along, see what we offer, try out dinghy sailing and kayaking, and find out how they can get involved! Please spread the word amongst your friends and family, and invite them along.

Find out more about the day here!

We are also looking for a few volunteers to support on the day with issuing buoyancy aids, helping visitors in and out of boats, and generally being a nice chatty person! If you think you can help please speak to James.

Fish & Chips Tomorrow

This Wednesday we have Race 4 of the Wednesday A Handicap and Holman Bowl Pursuit Series! This means we will be having fish & chips, after racing, when the bar will also be open. Our food will be collected and delivered to the club around 8.15pm.

Order your food here! Please note orders must be placed by 1200 on Wednesday 29th April. Please ensure you compete the payment for your food, you will receive a confirmation email once you are booked on to confirm your order.

Our Commodore Tom is the Race Officer on Wednesday so it is sure to be a great evening on and off the water!

RYA Courses in May Half Term

We still have a few spaces available on our RYA Youth Sailing Courses in May Half Term. We are running stages 1, 2, 3 and 4, check out our website calendar for more details.

Rock Up And Race

Rock Up and Race is all about fun, friendly, easily accessible dinghy racing. These sessions run on a 2-week cycle. In week 1 they are on a Wednesday afternoon between 3pm and 5pm, whilst in week 2 they run on a Friday evening after work, alongside late night hire! This week our session is on Wednesday!
Book on for tomorrow's session here!

How to Stay In Touch

Don't forget a really good way to stay in touch with other members is our Whatsapp Community, there are different groups within the community for each of our main classes, as well as the SYT Parents Group and a Kayaking/Paddleboarding Group.
