After racing the bar will be open and we will be having fish & chips delivered to the club for approximately 7pm! After eating we will have a short prizegiving to wrap up our Wednesday evening racing for 2024!
Food must be pre-ordered by 1200 on Wednesday via this page on our website!
We hope to see you there.
New This Winter - First Aid Training
We are very excited to be adding first aid training to our regular programme of activities! Our Lead Instructor Abi is an RYA and FAIB (First Aid Industry Body) instructor, allowing her to teach the RYA First Aid Course, and HSE First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid courses. This week our new first aid equipment arrived and we are looking forward to having regular RYA First Aid courses on our programme from November this year! Look out for more details soon.
University News
As we head towards the end of September university students are beginning to return after their summer breaks. From this week the lake will be a lot busier on Wednesday afternoons as Southampton University, Portsmouth University and Bournemouth University Sailing Clubs restart their team racing programmes.
For the Southampton University sailors this week will be a very special day as they get their brand new Ovington Fireflies afloat for the first time! This summer they have purchased 12 new Fireflies, and they were assembled with the support of Ksail last week. Meanwhile Bournemouth University's Fireflies are currently receiving a pre-season service from our instructor team.
Good Luck Salisbury Sea Cadets
This coming weekend is the Sea Cadet Corp's National Sailing Regatta. Several cadets from Salisbury Sea Cadets have qualified after successfully competing in District and Area competitions! Good luck all of you!
