Social Sailing

Don't forget this Thursday we are running some informal racing as part of Social Sailing! If you don't want to race we'd love to see you out on the water, but if you would like to race James will explain the plan at 10.30 and then we can all head out onto the water!

Youth Team Racing Training

After much interest from our youth sailors to learn about Team Racing, applying rules on the water and using tactics to assist team mates, we have created a programme of 5 training days. November 30th is the first instalment, book via the website as a one-off skills development day or come along to the series!

Parkstone Yacht Club Team Racing

It was a delight to welcome 54 sailors, plus spectators and race management team from Parkstone Yacht Club to Spinnaker Sailing Club on Saturday to allow them to have a day of inter-fleet team racing! Despite slightly light wind they had great fun using our 12 Fireflys and all left very happy having had a great day of fun!

Winter Is Here!

Have you seen the weather forecast for Saturday 23rd November? At the time of writing the forecast is saying 33 knots, gusting 53 knots! Please ensure your boat is securely tied down and the cover is well fitted!

Our club staff do not have the time to check every boat individually this week. However, if you are unsure about your boat and cannot get to the club yourself please let them know on admin@spinnakerclub.co.uk and they will check your boat if they can.

AGM 2024

Our 2024 Annual General Meeting will be on Sunday 8th December at 1.30pm. We hope to see as many members as possible. Remember as a member this is your club, your voice counts, and the Main Committee want to hear your views. The Commodore's Annual Report and proposed membership fees for 2025 can now be viewed here.

Lost Property

It's that time of year when our staff are having a big tidy up! Our lost property box is currently full to the brim and a full clear out will take place on Wednesday 20th November, so please check this week to make sure none of your kit is in there!
