Clubhouse Decorating/Plumbing
We are very excited that the first phase of this winter's decorating work will happen on Monday 18th/Tuesday 19th November (next week). Exactly where is being painted will be confirmed this week and notified to all members via email as soon as more details are known.
Then on Monday 25th November we have some plumbing repairs taking place in our changing rooms.
We will endeavour to keep disruption to a minimum but access to some areas may be restricted while work is taking place. Access to toilets/changing facilities will be possible throughout the period work is being carried out.
Social Sailing
Don't forget Social Sailing runs every Thursday from 10.30! It was wonderful to see a small fleet of 2 RS Aeros, a Byte and a Solo afloat last week, can we get more boats out this week? Come and join us for a sail or paddle while one of our staff team is on hand to man the safetyboat. Club boats will be available to hire throughout the winter.
From Thursday 21st November we are looking to run some very simple, informal racing as part of Social Sailing, look out for more details next week.
Lost Property
It's that time of year when our staff are having a big tidy up! Our lost property box is currently full to the brim and a full clear out will take place on Wednesday 20th November, so please check this week to make sure none of your kit is in there!
Winter Race Series
From this Sunday our Winter Series will see racing start at 10.30 with the first of two back to back handicap races. This series then runs until mid-December with the final two races on Sunday 15th December.
AGM 2024
Our 2024 Annual General Meeting will be on Sunday 8th December at 1.30pm. We hope to see as many members as possible. Remember as a member this is your club, your voice counts, and the Main Committee want to hear your views.
