Spinnaker Sailing Club is looking for an experienced instructor to appoint to the new role of Lead Instructor/Administrator on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Chief Instructor and the Commodore the Lead Instructor/Administrator will be responsible for supporting the day to day activities of the club by providing administrative support including managing membership applications and acting as a focal point for enquiries to the club. In addition the successful candidate will support the Chief Instructor in delivering the Club's on water activities including instructing and coaching members involved in our diverse and varied training programme, supporting and mentoring Instructors and volunteers and deputising for the Chief Instructor in their absence.
The Lead Instructor/Administrator will be contracted to a minimum of 20 hours per week, with additional hours available through the main sailing season of March to November. Additional hours may be available November - March dependent upon Club bookings and requirements. The successful candidate will be eligible to join the Club's pension scheme. Annual leave is based upon 14 days paid leave per year (resulting from core hours), with additional leave earned in relation to additional hours worked.
