As we approach the start of the summer season of 2022 we are looking for additional instructors to join our team!

We are currently recruiting for 2 x Lead Instructors - wage £10.50 per hour plus holiday pay and pension contributions. On offer are fixed term contracts, with a start date around 14th March 2022, with an end date of 30th October 2022. Minimum contracted hours will be 35 per week worked on a rota, with additional hours available during peak periods. These roles will require evening and weekend work.

Working alongside our permanent staff you will be part of the core team delivering activities to members and other user groups. We have a diverse programme of RYA Training courses, school outdoor education programmes, race coaching and other instructor led activities, alongside the hire of club equipment and our racing programme! Here at Spinnaker Sailing Club our staff team get involved in all aspects of the club - training, racing and general support to our members. This makes for a varied, interesting and friendly working environment!

Ideal candidates for the Lead Instructor Roles will have two or more of the below qualifications/attributes:

- RYA Dinghy Instructor
- RYA Senior Dinghy Instructor
- Paddlesport Instructor/Coach
- RYA Powerboat Instructor
- Significant racing experience
- RYA Race Official Qualification

In addition to the pay and benefits outlined above staff will be provided with CPD opportunities, including leading to further RYA qualifications and uniform.
