Work Party - Saturday 28th September
On Saturday 28th September we are having our Autumn Work Party. Between 10am and 3pm we will be asking members to help keep our club looking great by spending a few hours as a team to tidy up the grounds, cut back undergrowth and do a variety of other jobs. Without members contributing time on days such as these the club would not be able to keep on top of our boatpark and grounds.
Any and all help is appreciated whether you can spend the whole day with us or just a couple of hours, any help is brilliant.
Try a Firefly!
The Firefly is a very common sight on our lake, either with universities and schools team racing, or our members fleet racing. A number of members have recently expressed an interest in trying out these great boats. To help members try out the Firefly, and learn it's quirks, we have put on an Introduction to Fireflies group for our Class Training Day on 26th October!
You can see more details here.
Site Speed Limit
Please can everyone remember we have a 5mph site speed limit from the moment you leave the tarmac portion of Ivy Lane. This limit is there both to protect our car park surface, but also all our members, staff and visitors!
