We are experiencing some difficult circumstances, which are challenging and stretching the club's officials. James Oborne is unwell, and off work whilst he recovers. We all send him our best wishes for a speedy recovery. In the meantime, the "Club" needs club members to step up to the challenge. So, it you can help in anyway, please don't be shy.

Our club is a member's owned club, and that will be in effect to its maximum for the next few weeks. So, if the bins full, please empty it! If you see something amiss, please tidy it up. We all need to be in "our club" mode and help each other.

We should have 4 full time staff to keep everything running, and right now we have one. So, it's time for the membership to step up, and cover the gaps. Neil and Graham (the club's Training Principal - a volunteer position, but a sailing professional) are keeping the training side of things going, we the members need to do the rest.
All our active racers (in 2024) are being contacted to ensure they are doing their duties. But the rest of the club are expected to due duties too. If you are not a dinghy racer, you can do non expert race duties, and just now any help at the club is very welcome. Thank you all for the duties you have accomplished and committed to. To allow racing to proceed the following slots need to be filled in July

·Safety boat driver Sunday July 21

·Race Officer Wednesday July 24

·All duties Sunday July 28th

Please consider which of these you can assist with.
