Boiler Servicing - Friday 30th May

On Friday 30th May our boiler is being serviced. Due to the boiler being located just inside the entrance to our female changing rooms this may cause some minor disruption. We apologise for the inconvenience in advance.

Spinnaker Youth Training

Block 1 of SYT was a huge success this year, even though it only ran for four weeks due to the very late Easter Weekend.

Block 2 starts on Sunday 8th June, and has proved to be very popular! We currently have spaces left in the Introduction to Double Handers Group, but not the Beginners, Improvers or Begin to Race. We are trying to secure additional instructors, and if we can confirm staff this week will open up additional spots for the Improvers Group.

You can see more details about Block 2 here.

Southern Boat Park

Last week Phil and Ian did a great job tidying and organising the southern end of our boat park! A few boats have been shuffled to fit into the newly marked berths more neatly, and the road trailers have been tidied!

Whilst this work was being done several road trailers whose owners we do not know were identified. If you think one of these might be yours please speak to the office or email commodore@spinnakerclub.co.uk

Club Staffing

James is on annual leave from this Thursday (22nd May) until Saturday 31st May! While James is off Neil will be the out of hours emergency contact, holding the club's mobile phone (07880517110).

Wearing of Buoyancy Aids/Lifejackets

With the recent warmer weather we have loved seeing so many people out on the water. Can we please remind all our members, users and their guests that anyone who is on the water whether it is powerboating, sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding or winging must wear a buoyancy aid or lifejacket that fits them appropriately and is done up!
