Autumn Work Party

On Saturday 27th September we will be having our Autumn Work Party. This is one of a couple of days a year we ask our members to come to the club to lend a hand tidying up, helping to keep our club neat and tidy! We have a range of jobs we want to try and do including strimming, hedge cutting, patio weeding, and some general tidying up.

Fish & Chips Next Wednesday

Wednesday 24th September will be our final mid-week evening of racing in 2025! This is always a slightly sad moment as it means the evenings are getting very dark and winter is drawing in. Look out for an email on Monday with more details.

Winter Weather Is Here

The last few days have seen some very wet and windy moments! The good news is that at the moment there has been no damage, or boats moving out of place. However, we feel this would be a great time to remind all our members to ensure their boats are securely tied down, and covers fastened tightly.

Optimist and Topper Winter Coaching

The Optimist and Topper Class Associations have planned their usual of winter training for our younger sailors. This year there are a few changes due to the recent evolution of RYA Junior Sailing. The Optimist Coached Regatta training programme we have hosted for several years is now being booked directly through our website, and you can book on now! Meanwhile the Toppers have a number of different options, with applications open for another few days for the Regional Performance Squad. This year's Topper Open Coaching (which used to be 6 days run at Spinnaker) is now 5 weekends at a range of clubs across the South Coast, bookings will open soon!
