Saturday saw our annual Optimist Open Meeting in a very fresh breeze! You can read the full report here.

Poole Harbour Sail Away

It's not long until our next adventure, a sail away day in Poole Harbour on Saturday 13th September. Due to the need to pay launch fees and inform Poole Yacht Club of our numbers we are asking everyone who is coming to book their launching via our website here.

New Training Courses Planned

Follow several requests and some feedback we have added a number of courses to our calendar for October:

Adult RYA Level 1 and 2 - 20th to 24th October
RYA Powerboat Level 2 - 21st and 22nd October
RYA Powerboat Level 2 - 23rd and 24th October

Wednesday Twilight Series

With September having arrived our Wednesday evening racing is almost over. This Wednesday sees the start of our Twilight Handicap Series, run over 4 weeks. Sadly this means due to reduced daylight hours last week was our final pursuit race of 2025.

How to Stay In Touch

Our Whatsapp Community is a great way to stay in touch with other members, stay up to date with what's going on, and find the answers to lots of questions. Within the community there are multiple groups to join, based upon what your interests are.
