First Aid Courses Are Back

We are very happy that from February 2026 we will be running RYA First Aid courses again! We have one course planned inn February, and another in March at the moment, and more will be added for later in 2026.

Social Sailing Thursday 18th December

Our final social sailing session of he year is on Thursday 18th December. Join us for a final social sail/paddle of the year with mince pies afterwards! Sam and James will be heading out for a last sail of 2025 as well so come and join the fun.

Model Yachting

Steve hosted a fantastic Model Yachting Demo morning on Thursday 11th December. The club's model yachts are now available to hire out via the normal booking system on our website. You can read more about our Model Yachting here.

2026 Club Racing

A new Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions have been posted on our website for club racing next year! A couple of very small changes have been made:
- Guests my now enter races (the usual rules around guests still apply)
- The target time for each race is now defined as being for the lead boat

We are also opening up several of our one day events to non-members in 2026, and the first one of these is the Alice Lisle Cup, see more details here.

New Years Day Race

Our annual New Years Day Race will be running as normal (we hope after last year's event was cancelled due to strong winds). Come and join us to celebrate the new year, and get rid of any hangovers, with a single handicap race which starts at 12.00! After the race thee will be mince pies in the club house.

We are also currently looking for an Assistant Race Officer for the day, so if you can help please volunteer via the website.
