Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! Our staff team returned to work yesterday and we are looking forward to a fantastic year with a huge range of activities and events planned!

Check out our full calendar and book onto events here.
See more details about our racing programme here.
Find out about all our training opportunities through the "Training" tab on our website.

Busy Weekend Coming Up!

The 10th/11th January see's a busy start to the year for our sailors. A number of our Topper sailors (some of whom are heading off to the Topper Worlds this summer) will be out training at the lake this weekend with ITCA, meanwhile Graham Stones is heading off to the Bloody Mary in his Enterprise!

Building Work Update

Our new washdown station, with powered paddleboard inflation pump, is now fully installed thanks to our landlords Wessex Water! We will be shortly releasing more details and information about how to use this great new facility. (once our staff have read the instructions themselves!)

Next week Wessex Water will be finishing off some of the work to the grounds of our boat park.

2026 Racing Duties

With our full programme for 2026 now on the website, it is also that time of year when we ask member's to volunteer via our Duty Roster to support our Club Racing programme. Without your support we could not run our programme of racing!

To continue providing support to our race team volunteers, we will be having a staff member on hand to support all Club Racing from late-March. The intention is for this staff member not to fill a duty roster slot, but to be there as a mentor and supporter of the race team. This could be in providing guidance to a less experienced safety boat driver, or by being a sounding board for ideas for the Race Officer. You will be able to see which staff member is due to support racing for any given day by looking on the Duty Roster (please note we haven't yet allocated individual staff to this role).

2026 Membership Renewals

All annual members should have received information regarding their membership renewals via email. Within the email was information about how to renew, as well as a request to check the club's records regarding your address etc were up to date. You can see your renewals details (and renew your membership) here.

Our early bird renewal discount will run until 31st January 2026. If you have any questions about your membership, would like to change the type of your membership or need assistance with renewing please email admin@spinnakerclub.co.uk.
