Save The Date - Pre-Summer Social and Member's Information Evening

On Wednesday 18th March we will be having our annual early season social. Join our Sailing Committee from 6.30pm for fish & chips, drinks and some great information to enable you to get the most out of your membership this year!

You can see more information here!

Spring Work Party

Our Rear Commodore House Ian has a favour to ask. On Saturday 14th March we will be having our Spring Work Party, where we have a tidy up around the grounds to get our club ready for the upcoming season. Ian will be getting things going at around 10am, looking for work to be finishing around 3pm, and he has promised to provide doughnuts! Please indicate on the Whatsapp Poll whether you will be coming so he knows how much cake to buy!

Final 1-Day Icicle Series This Sunday!

This Sunday is the final 1-Day Icicle Series for 2026, before weekly Sunday racing resumes with our Alice Lisle Day on 29th March. Racing starts at 11am this Sunday, and we look forward to seeing a lake full of boats (and hopefully with no icicles)!

RYA First Aid Course - Friday 13th March

We still have spaces on our 1-day RYA First Aid Course on Friday 13th March. This is a great opportunity to develop your own skills and learn some life saving skills! This course is also aligned to the Health & Safety Executive Emergency First Aid at Work, so if you need that certificate for work this will also be appropriate!

You can see more details and book on here.

Rock Up And Race

We are vey excited to be part of an RYA pilot project this year called "Rock Up and Race"! This is all about fun, friendly, easily accessible dinghy racing. As we move forwards into 2026 we will be running these sessions on Wednesday afternoons and Friday evenings, but our first session is going to be on Thursday 12th March!

You can see more details about the first session here!

How to Stay In Touch

Don't forget a really good way to stay in touch with other members is our Whatsapp Community, there are different groups within the community for each of our main classes, as well as the SYT Parents Group and a Kayaking/Paddleboarding Group.
