Trips Away This Summer

We are very excited to have two trips for club members this summer! As well as our Paddling Away Day from Wareham on 16th August we have a day sailing in Poole Harbour from Poole Yacht Club on 13th September!

Summer Holiday Courses

We have a number of RYA training courses planned over the summer holidays, and spaces are filling up fast. All our planned dates are available to view on our website calendar. If you're not sure which course is right for you or your children please speak to James or Neil.

Our Duke of Edinburgh Volunteers

You may recently have noticed a couple of young volunteers helping us on Sundays! As part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award both Emily and Thea are currently volunteering. Emily has been passing on her sailing knowledge helping our instructor team on Sunday mornings with Spinnaker Youth Training, whilst Thea is helping run our afternoon racing!

New Fuel Locker

Following the recent issues with our fuel locker, we have this week purchased a new one! It is due to be delivered on Thursday this week, and will be in use by this weekend.

Club Security

Can we please remind all members to ensure the gates are locked, and club house front door is shut if they are the last to leave the site. On several occasions recently our staff have arrived in the morning to find the gates unlocked and no one on site.

All members have been issued the codes, so if in doubt please lock the gates and front door (even if there is a car in the car park).
