Well Done Max, Sam and Jas!

A big congratulations to Max, Sam and Jas who last week passed their RYA Dinghy Instructor course! Look out for all three on the water sharing their knowledge soon.

Annual Powerboat Maintenance

Next week our fleet of powerboats are having their annual service from BHG Marine. Whilst our fleet are usually very reliable and in great condition, they have a very busy life and this service will make sure they are in the best possible state for the coming year. Please be aware that due to this work our staff team may be in the office less than usual next week, and enquiries may take longer to respond to.

Spinnaker Youth Training

Spinnaker Youth Training is back again this year from Sunday 27th April! We already have 15 sailors booked, but there is still space.

Staff News

Some of you may have seen this week that our Lead Instructor Abi is leaving us! She has been offered the role of Chief Instructor for the Children's Sailing Trust in Cornwall, and will be starting her new role in March. Recruitment has already started for her replacement, you can see the advert here.

Some of the highlights of the next few weeks are:

- Saturday 8th March - Spring Work Party, come and help get the club ready for the summer
- Sunday 9th March - 1-day Icicle Series, James is the Race Officer and will share his top tips for race management before racing begins
- Wednesday 12th March - Understanding the Racing Rules of Sailing Evening
- Sunday 16th March - Topper Traveller
- Wednesday 26th March - Welcome to New Members and Pre-Season Social

And of course, Social Sailing runs every Thursday from 10.30 to 12.30!
