Building Works Update

On Thursday afternoon Wessex Water finished the work to our boat parking area (just in time for the Wessex Winter Warmer). The new engineered gravel area looks great, and the gravel will compact even further with use over the next few weeks.

Nigel Barrow Evening Talk

Steve has very kindly arrange for world champion dinghy sailor, and now remote controlled sailing guru, Nigel Barrow to visit us and give an evening talk on Wednesday 18th February. You can find out more, and let us know you are coming here.

Topper Open Coaching

For our Topper sailors there are two Open Coaching opportunities organised by ITCA ahead of our Topper Traveller on 1st March!
Hamble River Sailing Club Open Coaching - 7th and 8th February
Spinnaker Sailing Club Open Coaching - 28th February (day before the traveller)

You can see more details about all three of these events, and enter here.

New Washdown Station

We have had several members ask about using our new washdown facility, which is brilliant! For the moment it is only available to use when staff are on site to provide access to it. We are currently in the process of writing instructions for it, and once these are published members will be able to access it "out of hours" as well.

How to Stay In Touch

Don't forget a really good way to stay in touch with other members is our Whatsapp Community, there are different groups within the community for each of our main classes, as well as the SYT Parents Group and a Kayaking/Paddleboarding Group.
